Possible Causes
Empty pan or very small amount of liquid, Pan base overheating, Faulty temperature sensing on coil, Poor contact between sensor and glass
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
User actions:
- Turn off the affected zone and remove the pan.
- Allow the zone to cool for several minutes.
- Ensure there is sufficient liquid or food in the pan before using high power or booster.
- Avoid using booster on empty or nearly empty pans.
If E2 appears even with normal cooking and adequate contents, a technician should check the temperature sensor and its mounting on the coil or glass, and verify the calibration on the power module.
