Possible Causes

Loose harness between clock/timer board and main control, Failed clock/timer module, Faulty main control board, Oxidized connectors at control interface

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing internal controls.

Steps to check and correct:

  • Access control area: Remove the back cover or front bezel to expose the clock/timer module and main control board.
  • Inspect harness: Locate the multi-pin harness connecting the clock/timer to the main control. Disconnect and reconnect it to clean the contacts. Look for bent pins or corrosion.
  • Check for damage: Examine both boards for signs of burning, cracked solder joints, or moisture damage.
  • Test operation: Restore power and test timer and bake functions. If F11 returns, one of the boards is likely defective.
  • Replace faulty module: Start by replacing the clock/timer module if it is separate. If the issue persists, the main control board may also need replacement.

When to call a technician: Board-level diagnostics and replacement are best handled by a trained technician.
