Viking oven shows F16 and the warming drawer or auxiliary oven (if equipped) does not heat.

Steps to check and correct:

• Remove warming drawer: Pull the drawer out fully, then lift and remove it to access the element and wiring beneath.
• Inspect element and wiring: Look for burnt spots on the warming drawer element and check wiring for heat damage.
• Test element: Disconnect the element leads and test for continuity with a multimeter. Replace if open.
• Check sensor (if auxiliary oven): For models with a secondary oven, test the auxiliary temperature sensor similar to the main oven sensor.
• Relay and control: If elements and sensors test good, the auxiliary relay or control board may be faulty and require replacement.
