Cooktop control displays E0 or similar, surface elements unresponsive

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before removing any panels.

• Clean and dry surface: Wipe the glass cooktop and control area with a dry cloth to remove moisture or spills. Wait several minutes.
• Power reset: Turn the breaker off for 5 minutes, then back on. Some models recalibrate the touch controls at power-up.
• Check for stuck keys: If the error persists, the touch control may have a stuck key. Remove the control panel and inspect the touch board for damage or contamination.
• Replace touch control: If cleaning and reset do not resolve the issue, replace the Whirlpool touch control board or glass touch assembly.
