Wolf range or cooktop knobs are hard to turn or feel gritty.

Safety first: Turn off all burners. Do not spray cleaners directly into valve areas.

• Remove knobs: Pull the knobs straight off the valve stems.
• Clean area: Wipe the stem and surrounding area with a soft cloth lightly dampened with mild detergent. Do not flood the area with liquid.
• Inspect knobs: Check for cracks or deformation inside the knob. Replace damaged knobs.
• Valve replacement: If valves remain stiff or gritty, the gas valves may need to be replaced and adjusted by a qualified technician.
