Display shows F5, oven controls may be locked out or unresponsive.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker for at least 5 minutes before working on the control area.

• Power reset: After 5–10 minutes with power off, restore power and see if the F5 code clears. If it returns immediately, proceed with inspection.
• Access control board: Remove the backguard or front panel to expose the electronic oven control. Verify all wire harness plugs are fully seated and locked.
• Check for damage: Look for burn marks, swollen components, or a burnt smell on the control board. Any visible damage indicates the board must be replaced.
• Secure ground and neutral: Ensure the ground wire and neutral connections to the control are tight; loose connections can cause erratic operation.
• Replace EOC: If connections are good and F5 persists, replace the electronic oven control with a Zline-compatible part, transferring wires one at a time.
