  • Inspect keypad ribbon: Remove the control panel cover and locate the flat ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board. Reseat the cable and ensure it is not torn or kinked.
  • Check for stuck buttons: From the front, press each button individually. If any button feels stuck or does not click, the keypad membrane is likely damaged.
  • Replace keypad assembly: If F7 persists after drying and reseating, replace the front touchpad/control panel assembly. Transfer any trim or brackets from the old panel to the new one.
