Display shows PF or flashes, clock resets; oven functions may be disabled until cleared.

Safety first: Before checking electrical connections, turn off power at the breaker.

• Clear code: Press any key or Cancel/Off to clear the PF message. Reset the clock and test oven operation.
• Check power supply: Verify that the range is on a dedicated circuit of the correct amperage (typically 40–50A for electric, 15–20A for gas ignition). Avoid using extension cords.
• Inspect terminal block (electric models): Remove the rear cover to access the terminal block where the power cord connects. Check for loose screws, discoloration, or melted insulation. Tighten loose connections and replace any burnt parts.
• Secure plug (gas models): Ensure the power plug is fully inserted into the outlet and that the outlet is not loose.

When to call a technician: If you find burnt wiring at the terminal block or repeated PF codes without utility power issues, have a licensed electrician or appliance technician inspect the circuit and range wiring.
