Possible Causes
Unplugged or faulty power supply to range, Failed spark module, Broken igniter wire, Defective burner knob switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure all burner knobs are OFF. If you smell gas, shut off the gas supply and ventilate the area.
- Check power: Verify the range is plugged in and the outlet has power by testing with another appliance. Reset any tripped breaker.
- Test other burners: Turn each burner knob to Ignite one at a time. If none click, the spark module or power supply is suspect. If only one does not click, that burner switch or wiring may be faulty.
- Inspect wiring (advanced): With power disconnected, remove the cooktop surface (per manual) to access the spark module and igniter wires. Look for loose or disconnected wires and reconnect securely.
- Replace spark module: If power is present and wiring is intact but no burners spark, replace the spark module with a Zline-compatible unit.
When to call a technician: If you are not comfortable lifting the cooktop or working near gas lines, have a professional diagnose and replace the spark module or switches.
