Oven light does not turn on when door is opened or when light button is pressed.

Safety first: Turn off power before replacing the bulb or accessing wiring.

• Replace bulb: Remove the glass light cover inside the oven (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with the correct high-temperature oven bulb type and wattage.
• Test door switch: If the light still does not work, test the door switch for continuity when pressed. Replace if faulty.
• Check socket: Inspect the light socket for corrosion or loose connections. Tighten or replace as needed.

When to call a technician: If the bulb, switch, and socket are good, the control board light relay may be defective and should be replaced by a technician.
