Possible Causes
Uneven floor or leveling legs not adjusted, Loose grates or burner caps, Loose internal panels or fan, Range not secured to anti-tip bracket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off burners and oven before adjusting the appliance.
- Level the range: Use a bubble level on the cooktop surface. Adjust the leveling legs until the range is stable and level front-to-back and side-to-side.
- Secure anti-tip bracket: Ensure the rear of the range is engaged in the anti-tip bracket per installation instructions.
- Check grates and caps: Make sure all grates and burner caps are properly seated and not rocking.
- Inspect panels: Tighten any loose screws on rear or side panels and, if accessible, on the oven cooling fan mount.
When to call a technician: If vibration persists and seems to come from inside the oven cavity or fan, a technician should inspect internal components.
