Possible Causes
Water supply turned off or low pressure, Frozen water line, Faulty water inlet valve, Defective ice maker module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the water supply and unplug the refrigerator before working on the water system.
Water supply:
- Confirm the water tap to the refrigerator is fully open.
- Check the supply hose for kinks or crushing.
- Dispense water (if your model has a dispenser) to verify flow; poor flow indicates a supply or filter issue.
Ice maker checks:
- Ensure the ice maker is switched ON and that the ice bin is correctly positioned.
- Inspect the fill tube for ice blockage; if frozen, thaw with warm air or water (with power off).
- If water does not enter the ice tray during a cycle, the water inlet valve may be faulty and should be replaced.
Note: After any repair, allow up to 24 hours for ice production to resume.
