Refrigerator runs constantly and never cycles off; temperatures may be normal or slightly warm.

Basic checks:

• Ensure there is adequate space around the refrigerator for ventilation (typically at least 5 cm at sides and back).
• Inspect door gaskets for gaps, tears, or dirt. Clean with warm soapy water and dry; replace if damaged.
• Verify that temperature settings are not set to maximum cold unnecessarily.

Sensor and control:

• If the unit is excessively cold yet runs constantly, the temperature sensor or thermostat may be misreading. Replacing the compartment NTC sensor often resolves this.
• If you are comfortable with electrical work, test the sensor resistance and compare to specifications; replace if out of range.
