Refrigerator display shows H1 and refrigerator compartment feels warm while freezer may still be cold.

Safety first: This is a control/airflow issue; you do not need to remove panels for basic checks.

• Check door closure: Make sure nothing is blocking the door from closing fully (food packages, bins, shelves). Inspect the gasket for gaps or tears.
• Clear air vents: Locate the air vents in the refrigerator and freezer and move food items away so air can circulate freely.
• Allow recovery time: If you recently loaded a large amount of warm food, give the unit 12–24 hours to stabilize.
• Reset the alarm: Press and hold the Alarm Reset or Temp Set button for 3–5 seconds to clear the H1 code. If it returns within a few hours, further diagnosis is needed.
• Advanced check (for technicians/experienced DIY): Unplug the refrigerator, access the control board and test the refrigerator thermistor resistance at room temperature (typically ~2.7–3.5 kΩ at 77°F/25°C). Replace the thermistor if readings are out of spec.
