Refrigerator leaking water onto the floor from the front or underneath.

Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator and shut off the water supply before working on water lines.

• Identify leak source: Pull the unit out and inspect underneath for water trails. Check the drain pan and water connections.
• Clear defrost drain: Inside the freezer, remove the back panel and locate the drain hole under the evaporator. Use warm water and a turkey baster to flush out ice and debris until water flows freely to the pan.
• Inspect water lines: Check the inlet valve, filter connections, and plastic tubing for drips while water is on. Tighten compression fittings gently; replace cracked tubing.
• Check drain pan: If the pan is cracked or warped, replace it.
