Display shows F7; ice maker not filling or overfilling on models with ice maker

Steps:

• 1. Inspect fill tube: Remove the ice bin and check the fill tube for ice blockage. Clear any ice using warm (not boiling) water.
• 2. Check water pressure: Ensure household water pressure is within the recommended range; very low pressure can cause fill errors.
• 3. Test ice maker valve: If the ice maker overfills or drips when not calling for water, the valve is likely stuck open and should be replaced.
• 4. Ice maker module: If the valve is good but the ice maker does not call for water, the ice maker control module may be faulty and should be replaced.
