Possible Causes
Appliance not level, Loose condenser or evaporator fan, Tubing touching cabinet, Items vibrating against each other inside
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the refrigerator before touching moving parts or metal tubing.
Steps:
- 1. Level the appliance: Adjust the front feet so the fridge is stable and does not rock. Use a spirit level if available.
- 2. Check rear components: Remove the rear lower cover and ensure the condenser fan, compressor, and tubing are securely mounted. Bend tubing slightly away from cabinet walls if they touch and vibrate.
- 3. Inspect internal fans: Remove inner panels and check that fan blades are not hitting ice or plastic. Tighten any loose screws.
- 4. Organize contents: Ensure bottles and containers inside are not touching and rattling when the compressor starts.
