Possible Causes
Faulty temperature sensor, Stuck relay on control board, Incorrect temperature setting, Air vents directing too much cold air into fridge
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before accessing sensors or the control board.
Steps:
- 1. Check settings: Ensure the fridge temperature is not set too low. Set to around 4 °C and monitor.
- 2. Avoid blocking vents: Move food away from cold air outlets, especially near the top or back where cold air enters.
- 3. Test sensor: If the fridge remains too cold, test or replace the fridge compartment temperature sensor as described in sensor entries.
- 4. Control board: If the sensor is good but the compressor never cycles off, the control board relay may be stuck closed and the board should be replaced.
