Arctic
Lighting Circuit or Door Switch Failure
Refrigerator interior light not working, but unit cools normally
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Burnt-out LED module or bulb, Faulty door switch, Loose light connector, Control board not powering lights
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before replacing light modules or switches.
Steps:
- Check multiple lights: If all interior lights are out, suspect a control or common power issue. If only one is out, it is likely the module itself.
- Test door switch: Press the door switch manually. If the display or fans respond but lights do not, the light circuit is suspect.
- Replace light module: Remove the light cover and disconnect the LED module. Install a new, compatible Arctic light module.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure connectors are firmly seated and not corroded.
Note: Some models use low-voltage LED drivers on the main board; if multiple modules fail simultaneously, the board may need replacement.
