Display shows E10 and the ice maker (if equipped) does not produce ice or stops mid-cycle.

Safety: Turn off the ice maker and unplug the refrigerator before handling the ice maker assembly.

• 1. Turn off ice maker: Use the on/off switch or lift the ice maker arm to the off position.
• 2. Inspect for jams: Remove the ice bin and look for cubes stuck in the mold or ejector blades. Gently clear any obstructions with a plastic tool.
• 3. Check water supply: Ensure the water line is on and not kinked. A dry mold can cause the motor to stall.
• 4. Reset ice maker: Some Avanti models have a test or reset button on the ice maker module. Press and hold per the user manual to initiate a test cycle after restoring power.
• 5. Test motor: If the motor does not move during a test cycle and there is power to the module, the ice maker assembly is likely faulty and should be replaced as a complete unit.
• 6. Check ice level sensor: If equipped with an optical or mechanical level sensor, ensure it is not blocked by ice or debris and moves freely.
