Ice cubes are small, hollow, or clumped together in the bin.

Safety: Shut off water and unplug the refrigerator before servicing the water system.

• 1. Replace water filter: Install a new water filter if it is old or suspected restricted.
• 2. Check water pressure: Ensure at least 20–40 psi water pressure to the refrigerator. Low pressure can cause small or hollow cubes.
• 3. Inspect inlet valve screen: Disconnect the supply line and check the valve inlet screen for debris. Clean or replace the water inlet valve if clogged.
• 4. Verify freezer temperature: Keep freezer around 0°F (-18°C). Too warm can cause slow freezing and malformed cubes.
