Ice maker not making ice, ice bin empty after 24–48 hours.

Safety: Turn off the ice maker and shut off water supply before disconnecting lines.

• 1. Verify water supply: Ensure the shutoff valve is open and the supply line is not kinked.
• 2. Check ice maker arm/switch: Make sure the ice maker is turned on and the bail arm is in the down position.
• 3. Replace water filter: If equipped, install a new water filter and run several cups of water through the dispenser to purge air.
• 4. Test inlet valve: Use a multimeter to check coil resistance. If open, replace the water inlet valve.
• 5. Inspect ice maker: If the mold never fills with water but the valve is good, the ice maker assembly may not be sending a fill signal and should be replaced.
