Possible Causes
Failed LED module, Loose light connector, Faulty door switch, Low-voltage driver failure on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before touching any lighting modules or wiring.
- Check door switch: Press the door switch manually. If the light does not respond, the switch or light circuit may be faulty.
- Inspect LED module: Remove the light cover (usually clipped or screwed). Look for burn marks or discoloration on the LED board.
- Check connections: Ensure the LED module connector is firmly seated. Reseat it if loose.
- Replace LED module: If the module is visibly damaged or still does not light after reseating, replace it with a compatible Bauknecht LED module.
- If multiple lights fail: A problem with the low-voltage supply on the main control board is possible and should be diagnosed by a technician.
