Possible Causes

Failed water inlet valve coil,Blocked or kinked water supply hose,Low household water pressure,Faulty control board output to valve

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator and close the water supply valve before working on water components.

Step-by-step:

  • Check water supply: Ensure the tap feeding the fridge is fully open and the hose is not kinked behind the unit.
  • Inspect filter (if fitted): A clogged water filter can restrict flow. Replace the filter if it is older than the recommended interval.
  • Access inlet valve: Remove the rear lower cover. The water inlet valve is where the supply hose connects to the fridge.
  • Check for leaks or damage: Look for cracks, corrosion, or water stains around the valve.
  • Test coil (if you have a multimeter): With power disconnected and wires removed, measure resistance across the valve coil(s). An open circuit indicates a failed coil.
  • Replace valve: If the coil is open or the valve is leaking, replace the water inlet valve with the correct Beko part. Use new sealing washers and tighten connections firmly but not excessively.

Warning: After reassembly, slowly turn on the water and check carefully for leaks before pushing the fridge back into place.
