Possible Causes

Failed magnetic door sensor or mechanical door switch,Loose or broken wiring in door harness,Magnet missing or misaligned in door,Faulty main control board input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing any trims or panels.

Step-by-step:

  • Check door operation: Open and close the door while observing the interior light and fan. If they do not change state, the switch/sensor may be faulty.
  • Locate switch/sensor: On many Beko models, the switch is in the cabinet frame near the top or side, or a magnetic reed sensor is hidden with a magnet in the door.
  • Inspect for damage: Look for cracked switch housings, loose mounts, or missing magnets in the door gasket area.
  • Clean area: Wipe away dirt or sticky residue that may prevent the switch from moving freely.
  • Test switch (if mechanical): Press it by hand and listen for a click. If no click or it feels stuck, replacement is recommended.
  • Replace faulty part: Swap the door switch or sensor with a compatible Beko part. Ensure the magnet (if used) is correctly positioned in the door.

Note: If the switch tests good but E7 remains, the wiring or control board may be at fault and should be checked by a technician.
