• 1. Check water supply: Ensure the saddle valve or tap feeding the fridge is fully open and the hose is not kinked.
• 2. Thaw frozen line: If the line in the freezer or door is frozen, raise the freezer temperature slightly and allow several hours to thaw.
• 3. Test water valve: Activate the ice maker test cycle (if available). Listen for the water valve hum. If it does not operate, the valve or control may be faulty.
• 4. Replace water valve: If the valve hums but no water flows and the supply is confirmed, replace the water inlet valve.
• 5. Replace ice maker: If the valve works but the ice maker does not cycle or eject cubes, replace the ice maker assembly.
