Display shows EC and the refrigerator may not cool correctly or may shut down intermittently.

Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator. Compressor and inverter circuits carry high voltage; do not probe live unless you are qualified.

Basic checks:

• Pull the unit out and remove the rear lower panel.
• Inspect the compressor area for loose connectors, burnt smells, or damaged wiring.
• Ensure the inverter module (if present) is firmly mounted and its plugs are fully seated.

Reset:

• Leave the unit unplugged for 10–15 minutes, then reconnect and listen for the compressor starting after a short delay.

Important: Diagnosing compressor and inverter faults requires specialized tools and knowledge of sealed systems. If EC persists, contact an authorized technician; do not attempt to open the sealed system yourself.
