Possible Causes
Door left open for extended period, Warm food load recently added, Failed refrigerator sensor reading high, Airflow blockage by food items
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Immediate actions:
- Ensure the door is fully closing and the gasket is sealing all around.
- Check that vents inside the fridge are not blocked by containers or bags.
- Remove large warm items and allow the unit to stabilize.
Reset alarm: Many models allow you to silence or reset the H1 alarm via the control panel. Do this after correcting door and load issues.
If H1 persists:
- Unplug the unit for 5 minutes, then restore power.
- If the compartment remains warm after several hours of operation, or if the temperature reading is clearly wrong compared to a thermometer, the sensor or control board may be faulty and should be checked.
