Possible Causes

Dirty condenser coils, Failing condenser fan, Door gasket leaks, Low refrigerant charge or partial blockage

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Condenser cleaning:

  • Unplug the unit and pull it away from the wall.
  • Locate the condenser coils (underneath or at the back) and vacuum dust and lint thoroughly. Use a soft brush to avoid bending fins.

Check condenser fan:

  • With power restored, ensure the fan near the compressor runs when the compressor is on.

Door seals:

  • Inspect gaskets for gaps or tears. Close a sheet of paper in the door; if it pulls out easily, the seal may be weak or the door misaligned.

Note: If coils are clean, fans run, and seals are good but cooling is still weak, a sealed-system issue (refrigerant leak or restriction) is likely and requires a certified technician.
