Possible Causes
Faulty temperature sensor reading low, Stuck relay on control board, Incorrect temperature setting, Air damper stuck open
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Settings and loading:
- Verify the temperature setting is not at the coldest position; set to a mid-range and monitor.
- Avoid placing highly perishable items directly in front of cold air vents.
Sensor and control:
- If the display shows a much lower temperature than an actual thermometer, the sensor may be faulty.
- Unplug the unit for 5 minutes to reset the control. If the compressor still runs nearly nonstop and temperatures remain too low, the control board or sensor likely needs replacement.
