Water filter indicator error, E19 displayed even after filter change

Safety first: Turn off water supply before removing the filter.

Steps:

• Verify correct filter: Use the exact Bosch-approved filter model for your refrigerator.
• Reinstall filter: Remove and reinstall the filter, ensuring it is fully seated and locked. Some models require a firm twist until a click is heard.
• Reset filter indicator: Follow the user manual (often holding the filter or alarm button for 3–5 seconds) to reset the filter timer.
• Check sensor: If your model uses a mechanical switch at the filter head, inspect it for damage or sticking. Clean gently if dirty.
• Power cycle: Unplug the unit for 5 minutes and plug back in to clear minor software errors.

Note: Persistent E19 with correct filter and reset procedure may indicate a faulty control board or filter head assembly.
