How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use only potable water sources for the refrigerator.
Steps:
- Replace filter: Install a new OEM filter if older than 6 months.
- Discard old ice: Empty the ice bin completely and wash it with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Flush system: Dispense and discard 1–2 gallons of water to flush the lines.
- Check for odors: Clean the interior of the fridge and remove any spoiled food that may be causing odors absorbed by ice.
