Possible Causes
Failed LED driver on control board, Shorted LED module, Loose light harness connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before removing light covers or panels.
Step 1 – Check light modules:
- Remove the light lens in the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
- Inspect LED modules for burn marks or discoloration.
Step 2 – Test connections:
- Ensure the light connectors are fully seated.
- Wiggle the harness gently to see if the lights flicker (with power on, but only if you can do so safely and without touching live contacts).
Step 3 – Replace faulty LED module:
- If a particular module is dark or visibly damaged, replace it with the correct part.
Step 4 – Check LED driver:
- If all modules appear intact but none light, the LED driver circuit on the main board may have failed.
- In that case, replacement of the main control board is usually required.
