How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before tightening components or accessing fans.
Step 1 – Level the appliance:
- Use a spirit level to check front‑to‑back and side‑to‑side.
- Adjust leveling feet until the unit is stable and slightly tilted back.
Step 2 – Check external vibrations:
- Ensure the refrigerator is not touching walls or cabinets.
- Place vibration‑damping pads under the feet if needed.
Step 3 – Inspect fans:
- Access evaporator and condenser fans and check for ice, wiring, or insulation contacting the blades.
- Clear obstructions and secure loose wires.
Step 4 – Tighten mounts and panels:
- Tighten compressor mounting bolts if excessively loose (do not overtighten; some movement is normal).
- Secure any rattling internal panels or shelves.
