Water pooling inside refrigerator compartment, especially under crisper drawers

Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before removing drawers or panels.

Step 1 – Remove drawers and shelves:

• Take out crisper drawers and lower shelves to expose the rear bottom of the compartment.

Step 2 – Locate and clear drain:

• Find the small drain hole or channel at the back.
• Use a cotton swab or soft brush to remove debris.
• Flush with warm water using a syringe or baster until water flows freely to the drain pan below.

Step 3 – Prevent recurrence:

• Avoid pushing food items against the back wall.
• Periodically clean the drain area during routine maintenance.
