Safety first: Turn off the ice maker and shut off the water supply before working on ice maker components. Unplug the refrigerator if removing covers.

• 1. Verify ice maker is ON: Ensure the ice maker switch or control setting is in the ON position.
• 2. Check ice bin and bail arm: Make sure the ice bin is seated correctly and the bail arm or sensor is not blocked by ice.
• 3. Inspect fill tube: Look at the plastic tube that feeds water into the ice maker. If it is blocked with ice, thaw it using a warm cloth.
• 4. Test water pressure: Dispense water from the door. Weak flow suggests low pressure; ensure the saddle valve is fully open and the supply line is not kinked.
• 5. Force cycle (if available): Use the ice maker test button or service mode to initiate a cycle. If the ice maker does not move or fill, replace the ice maker assembly or the water valve as indicated by testing.
