Safety: Unplug the appliance before deep cleaning internal and rear areas.
Steps:
- 1. Remove all food: Empty the fridge and freezer. Discard spoiled items.
- 2. Clean interior: Wash all shelves, drawers, and walls with a solution of bicarbonate of soda and warm water.
- 3. Clean door gaskets: Gently pull back the CDA door gaskets and clean inside the folds where mold can grow.
- 4. Flush defrost drain: Clean and flush the drain hole and tube with warm water and mild disinfectant.
- 5. Clean condensate tray: At the rear, remove and wash the drip tray above the compressor.
- 6. Air out: Leave doors open for several hours to ventilate before restarting.
