CDA
Condenser Heating / Poor Ventilation
Exterior side walls of the refrigerator feel very hot to the touch.

Possible Causes
Built-in condenser in cabinet walls operating normally, Inadequate ventilation clearance, High ambient temperature, Dust-clogged condenser (rear-coil models)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before cleaning the condenser or moving it.
Steps:
- 1. Check installation clearances: Ensure the CDA fridge has the recommended space around it, especially for built-in models with top and bottom vents.
- 2. Clean condenser: On models with a rear metal condenser, gently vacuum dust from the coils to improve heat dissipation.
- 3. Ambient temperature: Avoid placing the fridge next to ovens or radiators. Very hot rooms will make the sides feel hotter.
- 4. Monitor: Warm sides are normal, but if they are too hot to touch for more than a few seconds, improve ventilation or consult a technician.
Note: Some CDA designs route condenser pipes through the side walls; warmth here is expected.
