• 1. Inspect gasket: Check the entire perimeter of the CDA freezer door gasket for splits, tears, or areas not contacting the cabinet.
• 2. Check for obstructions: Ensure baskets and food packages are not preventing the door from closing fully.
• 3. Adjust hinges: On some CDA models, the door hinges are adjustable. Slightly loosen the hinge screws and realign the door so it sits squarely, then retighten.
• 4. Replace gasket if needed: Warm the new gasket in hot water to make it flexible, then fit it into the door channel, pressing firmly all around.
• 5. Test seal: Close the door on a strip of paper at several points; you should feel resistance when pulling it out.
