Possible Causes
Blown bulb, Failed LED module, Faulty door switch, Loose light connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the refrigerator before replacing any lamps or LED modules.
Steps:
- 1. Check bulb type: Many CDA models use LED modules rather than standard bulbs. Refer to the rating label near the light cover.
- 2. Access light cover: Remove the plastic light diffuser by releasing clips or screws.
- 3. Inspect and replace: For bulb types, replace with the same wattage and fitting. For LEDs, replace the complete CDA LED light module.
- 4. Door switch: If a new lamp does not work, test the door switch for continuity and replace if faulty.
Note: Never fit a higher wattage bulb than specified; it can overheat the housing.
