Possible Causes

Failed dual water inlet valve, Clogged inlet filter or mesh screen, Faulty water flow sensor (if equipped), Kinked or frozen water line inside door or cabinet

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the refrigerator and close the household water supply valve before working on the water system.

  • Check water supply: Ensure the household shutoff valve is fully open and water pressure is adequate. Test by disconnecting the supply line at the fridge and briefly opening the valve into a bucket.
  • Inspect inlet valve: The Cecotec dual inlet valve is usually located at the rear bottom. Check for leaks, cracks, or mineral buildup at the inlets.
  • Clean screens: Remove the inlet hose and clean any debris from the valve's mesh filter.
  • Check for frozen lines: Feel the water line inside the freezer door or behind the fridge. If frozen, defrost the unit and reduce freezer temperature slightly.
  • Replace inlet valve if faulty: If the valve coils show open circuit on a multimeter or do not actuate when powered (technician test), replace with a Cecotec-compatible dual water inlet valve.
  • Restore and test: Turn water back on, check for leaks, restore power, and test dispenser/ice maker. E11 should clear when normal flow is detected.
