Possible Causes
Failed convertible zone NTC sensor, Stuck air damper motor, Loose harness between zone and main control, Faulty zone control board (if separate)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing drawers or panels.
- Access convertible zone: Remove the drawer(s) and inner cover of the multi-zone compartment.
- Locate sensor and damper: The sensor is usually on the rear wall; the damper motor is near the air inlet from the freezer.
- Inspect for ice or obstruction: Clear any ice or food debris blocking the damper door.
- Check wiring: Ensure connectors to the sensor and damper motor are secure.
- Replace faulty parts: If the sensor tests open/short, replace it. If the damper does not move during mode changes, replace the Cecotec convertible zone damper motor.
- Test: Restore power, select different modes, and verify temperature changes and clearing of E14.
