Possible Causes
Door gasket not sealing properly, Warm air infiltration due to misaligned doors, Faulty temperature sensor reading too warm, Main control board not terminating cooling cycle
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: You can perform most checks with the unit powered, but avoid touching live electrical parts.
- Check door seals: Close a sheet of paper in the door at various points. If it pulls out easily, the gasket may be worn or the door misaligned.
- Clean gaskets: Wipe door gaskets with warm soapy water to remove debris and improve sealing.
- Level the refrigerator: Adjust front leveling feet so doors close by themselves from a partially open position.
- Verify temperature settings: Set fridge to about 4 °C and freezer to about -18 °C. Avoid maximum cold settings unless necessary.
- Sensor and board check: If the unit still runs nonstop, the temperature sensor or main control board may be faulty and should be tested and replaced as needed.
