Water leaking onto the floor from the front or rear of the refrigerator.

Safety: Unplug the refrigerator and shut off the water supply if the leak appears to be from the water system.

Steps:

• Identify leak source: Pull the unit away from the wall and inspect the rear for dripping around the water inlet valve and tubing. Check under the front for water near the drain pan.
• Clear defrost drain: Access the freezer evaporator area and locate the drain hole under the coil. Use warm water and a turkey baster to flush out ice and debris until water flows freely into the drain pan.
• Inspect drain pan: From the rear or front (kick plate area), check the plastic drain pan for cracks or misalignment. Replace if damaged.
• Check water lines: Tighten compression fittings and push-in connectors on the water supply and dispenser/ice maker lines. Replace any cracked tubing with Crosley-compatible water line.
• Replace leaking valve: If the water inlet valve body is cracked or dripping, replace it.
