Ice and water have a bad taste or odor.

Safety: Use only potable water supply.

• Replace water filter: If older than 6 months, install a new Dacor-approved filter.
• Flush system: Dispense and discard 2–3 gallons of water to clear lines.
• Clean ice bin: Empty and wash the bin with warm soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Air out interior: For new units, wipe interior surfaces and leave doors open briefly to dissipate plastic odors.
