Refrigerator displays CL and controls may be locked; no response to button presses.

Safety first: No internal access is required for lock functions.

• Disable control lock: Press and hold the designated lock button (often labeled Control Lock or a padlock icon) for 3–5 seconds until the CL indicator turns off.
• Check button function: If buttons do not respond, unplug the refrigerator for 5 minutes and reconnect to reset the UI.
• Inspect for moisture: If the dispenser or control area is wet, dry thoroughly. Moisture can cause false button presses.
• Replace UI: If the lock cannot be cleared and buttons remain unresponsive, replace the user interface control board.
