Refrigerator displays dO and may beep; interior lights may stay on.

Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before removing switch assemblies.

• Locate door switch: Typically found in the door frame near the top or side of each compartment.
• Test switch operation: Press the switch plunger by hand. The interior lights should turn off and any door-ajar alarm should stop. If not, the switch may be faulty.
• Check alignment: Ensure the door physically contacts the switch when closed. Adjust door hinges if necessary.
• Replace switch: Pry out the switch carefully with a plastic tool, disconnect the harness, and install the new Electrolux door switch.
