Possible Causes
Failed dual water inlet valve, Clogged inlet screen, Low household water pressure, Frozen water line in door or cabinet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator and shut off the water supply before servicing.
- Check water pressure: Disconnect the water line at the refrigerator and briefly open the supply valve into a bucket. A weak stream indicates a household plumbing issue.
- Inspect inlet valve: Remove the rear lower panel and locate the Electrolux dual water inlet valve. Check for clogged screens and clean if necessary.
- Check for frozen lines: Feel along the water line in the freezer door or cabinet. If frozen, increase freezer temperature slightly and allow to thaw.
- Replace valve: If the valve coils test open or do not actuate when energized, replace the water inlet valve assembly.
