• Check main control connections: At the rear of the refrigerator, remove the control board cover. Inspect the harness that runs to the UI. Reseat connectors and look for signs of burning or corrosion.
• Component replacement: If wiring is intact and reseating does not resolve the error, replace the user interface board first (most common). If the issue persists, the main control board may need replacement. Board replacement should be done carefully to avoid ESD damage; consider a professional if unsure.
