How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before servicing.
- Visual inspection: Check for moisture or condensation around the dispenser or top control area. Dry thoroughly and ensure no water is entering the control housing.
- Check harness continuity: If equipped and you are comfortable using a multimeter, test continuity of the communication harness between the main PCB and UI board. Repair or replace any damaged harness.
- Reseat connectors: At both the main control board (rear of unit) and the UI, unplug and firmly reconnect the communication connectors.
- Board substitution: If wiring is good, replace the user interface board. If the error remains, replace the main control board with the correct Electrolux part number for your model.
